So just an update, since I'm not sure I've ever officially said anything on here, but I've pretty much moved to Instagram as my primary art platform. You can follow me on there sakohju

I still post all my art here, but I'm kind of treating this site more like an image storage at this point than an actual place to showcase my work, since it's pretty much a ghost town now anyways. I haven't been keeping up with journals and stuff much here either so Insta is going to be the best place to also keep up to date with my latest projects and things (got some new comics coming! )

I also still have commissions open but I no longer take commissions through deviant art. I'll be posting updated info with all the details on my instagram soon.

After being on this site for over 10 years, I've finally changed my icon. My art has grown and changed enough in the time I think it's time for something new. I'm also planning to draw a new ID, hopefully soon. I've been saying hopefully soon for like a year now so. We'll see haha.

Hey! Long time no comic!

Thanks to college I took a few years off from making comics while I focused on getting my degree...but now that I'm no longer staying up until stupid hours coding through a blur of tears, I've finally launched a project I've been wanting to create for a long time!

It's that time of yeaaaaarrrr!

It's actually already two weeks into that time of year and I am desperately trying to catch up!

I'm very excited to be able to dive into inktober again, since I'm no longer a college student and actually have time after work and on weekends again I've been really hoping this year will be the year I can do 31 drawings in october again. Wish me luck!

I'm also doing digital inking this year, as I've switched to an all-digital setup instead of using traditional pens as I did in years past. Emulating the same style though I also will be sprinkling in a few fan arts, but plan on mostly drawing my OCs this year. After all of them just living in my head for so long, it feels nice and just very self-satisfying to finally draw so many of them ^^

So to start, commissions ARE still OPEN! You can find my commission info here.

However, payment must be via PayPal only (or I'm open to similar methods like Venmo). I am no longer accepting point commissions through deviant art.

I recently found out that with the many waves of site updates Literally No One Asked For, I now require a core membership to be able to withdraw my earnings on deviantart as actual currency. Which sucks, so I will probably be using the profit from my next commission to just get core and actually be able to withdraw the earnings I had...but I have no intention of ever remaining a paying member. I'm not interested in paying for a core membership, and on top of it dA already takes 20% of earnings from commissions made through their site anyway, which is a lot, so basically, they've made it completely not worth it for me to accept points as payment anymore.

TL;DR I only accept PayPal or other third party payment for commissions now. No more point commissions.
